Course Description:
Focus is on acquiring foundation skills in basic language areas such as listening, speaking, reading and composition. Students are introduced to basic tools of communication such as sentence patterns, expressions and idioms. Grammar review, vocabulary expansion, listening strategies and corrective pronunciation drills are also part of the core content.
Course Outcome:
At the end of the Program, the students are expected to have gained self-confidence in expressing himself, understand simple sentences and familiarization with grammar usage in all areas of learning. Likewise, students shall have experienced varied types of communicative setting.
